week #10

monday

➜ hello March! hello sunshine! ☀

➜ I'm so motivated to start moving regularly! I don't know if it's the physio exercises or spring being almost here - the sunny weather! - but I want to dive into all sorts of sports again! I wrote a blog about it.

➜ my Monday started with a new routine. I'm adding pilates to my exercise schedule and today I did my first beginners lesson.

➜ today was also the day that I started with protein & creatine shakes again. now that I'm trying to be more active, I want to try and see if the shakes make a difference.

➜ I watched the first episode of the sean combs documentary series, and for now it's already an OMG. I'm curious about the next two episodes.

➜ I'm taking my daily skin supplements from cloudless+ for 3 weeks now and they are starting to give results! my skin is less troubled, yeah!

➜ I was so proud of myself for sitting on the couch, watching a series and not snacking anything the whole evening! something I also want to do: try to keep my sweet tooth under control!

➜ went to bed early, around 21:30, because I couldn't keep my eyes open.

tuesday

➜ my day started with a 6km hike in the sun. the weather was great again, around 17 degrees. and I even had to get off my thin jacket because it was too warm! loved walking around in my shirt ♡

➜ on my walk I heard 2 woodpeckers and saw so many 'citroentjes' - citroenvlinder (brimstone butterfly).

➜ found a fellow bear blogger and his cool blog.

➜ the daughter had a birthday party after school, so I tried to spend my extra free time wisely and cleaned the back garden. I even cleaned the windows!

➜ it was a day with more energy than usual (yay!), but I also enjoyed sitting in the garden on the couch. I am loving being outside more and the spring energy around me so much!

wednesday

➜ in the morning I had my half yearly dentist check up appointment. finally one where there’s no follow up appointment with things to do on my teeth!

➜ the rest of the morning was for exercising. I found a good hamstring stretch routine that made me feel instantly better. if I go hiking more, my hamstrings and leg muscles tend to feel more tight. so this one I am incorporating in my routine.

➜ on Vinted I found two really nice track jackets to wear while hiking. thin ones that I can use in spring and on colder summer mornings.

thursday

➜ we had our afternoon coffee break in the sun at work today. that was so lovely! because it feels like we work in some sort of bunker :') and in our bunker we don't notice anything outside.

➜ I felt a bit fresher and more energetic in my head. I've been taking creatine daily for some days, could that be the reason? I read the positive difference should be quite high for vegetarians.

➜ from Thursday on, I kind of forgot about my blog again (like every week), because the workdays are always so busy and full.

friday

➜ it seems that the amount of customers on Friday's is picking up again. we had a busy day! I made quite some bouquets and even had time to make some spring and Easter wreaths.

➜ we had parent-teacher meeting around 5 and D's teacher had only good stuff to tell us. she made progress and is nicely in line learning all the things she has to for her age.

➜ I didn't have to go back to work after the meeting, so we took advantage of the opportunity and sat on the terrace of the local brewery for a while. what a life! ;)

➜ in the evening I ordered a weighted vest for my hike training sessions. I want to gradually add some weights to make it more of a fitness walk.

saturday

➜ it was the first time we got Japanese Gloriosas at work, so I didn't have to think long if I wanted to bring some home :D they are so lovely in our pink vase!

➜ it was still a bit early to already put up an Easter branch, but I brought some birch branches home and put them in the vase, that we can decorate later. the daughter is already looking forward to putting eggs and feathers in.

➜ it was a lovely sunny day again and it certainly wasn't a punishment to clean the shop windows.

➜ the husband had a fussball game in the afternoon, so I picked the daughter up at my parents after work. we had pizza and had a small girls night before putting her in bed.

➜ with the good weather the last days, my motivation to go hiking grew bigger and bigger! was looking forward to the beginning of next week, when I can go again!

sunday

➜ Sunday morning was spent cleaning the house. we were expecting visitors in the afternoon, so that was a good incentive to give the place a good clean. I cleaned inside and the husband took on the garden. our garden tiles are now nice and clean instead of green!

➜ for the visiting kids D wanted to bake muffins, so we went to the store to buy everything and baked.

➜ we had 4 kids over and their parents, colleagues of my husband. we were mostly in the (freshly cleaned, hehe) garden, because it was sunny and around 18 degrees, yeah!

➜ the kids wanted to go to the playground, and we mostly played in the sandpit.

➜ in the evening I was too tired (and a little too lazy) to do my exercises, so I took a rest day. on Monday the weather is good again, so I'm planning on doing a longer hike!

➜ I started watching this new series vladimir. don't know what to think yet!
