story of the day #9
mon 23 > we visited my sister, auntie T and we observed D has a special photo face when she's taking a picture with her dog niece. a mixture of extremely happy and proud :D it's so cute!
tue 24 > D got a new toy, the smart game squirrels go nuts. it's a strategic thinking game where you have to slide the squirrels in the right direction to hide nuts in the ground. D loves it!
wed 25 > the best day to start hiking again! the sun is out, I only need a thin jacket and my knee is doing okay! yeah!
thur 26 > when arriving at school in the morning, a very proud D showed me her rainbow chalk drawing on the playground.
fri 27 > I'm starting with daily protein & creatine shakes again. I'm going all in with my new fitness routine and the motivation to get fit is high! is this spring calling? or just a 40 year old mom that is feeling old ;)
sat 28 > oh myyy, it was busy at work today! but I'm not complaining. I'll take a busy day over any slow day, always.
sun 1 > our first trip to the zoo of 2026. the sun was out and we had a good time walking around and climbing on the playground. it was fun to see how D didn't have any hesitations anymore with climbing and sliding. she just did it!
