story of the day #7
mon 9 > S. got picked up at our house by her mom, after the playdate today. we decided some fresh air would be good, so the 4 of us went to the playground and the girls played hide and seek. every now and then we heard loud PEEP PEEP PEEEEP from a bush. a signal for the searcher where the little bird could be. it was so much fun!
tue 10 > the daughter picked her costume for carnaval for this year. she immediately wanted to try it on. and when I wanted to make picture she put her claws up next to her face, looked really fierce and made a raaawwwrrrrr! I think it's a yes!
wed 11 > on Wednesday I had my second physiotherapy appointment and we went into exercises that will help me strengthen and stretch my legs. he confirmed a feeling I had for some time, that my knees shouldn't burn up that easily. and he also told me my knees aren't weak, so that's not the reason why. that's a relief!
thur 12 > I can't tell for sure it's the tape on my knees, but even busy days at work seem to be better with than without? and another good thing: I found a exercise bike for not too much money! it will arrive next week.
fri 13 > the daughter celebrated carnaval at school today. they had a parade and all classes performed on stage. it was so cute to get video's sent by other moms, seeing the kids having so much fun! the daughters class performed a song and our 'usually shy in public when it's about dancing' girl, stood front center of the stage!
sat 14 > Valentine's Day at work today. it was less busy than other years, but not really a clear explanation to why?
sun 15 > today we were all dressed up in our costumes, waiting by the side of the road for all the carnival trucks to come by and throw out candy. we caught 3 bags full and went home with feet that felt like ice blocks, brrr. but we had fun!
