story of the day #6
mon 2 > the daughter had a day off from school today, so we visited my sister. she loves playing hide and seek with her aunt. and I never want to forget the giggles and laughs we have when we are searching for each other ♡ our dog niece always reveals where everyone is because she's sniffing around : D
tue 3 > a second day off today for the daughter. we visited my parents and the daughter wanted to go with public transport, so we took the bus. the first time ever for her, and she loved it! while waiting at the bus stop she wanted to listen to music. we danced to 'I like to move it move it' from the Madagascar movie she saw recently : D
wed 4 > I had my first physiotherapy for my knee today. I got an extensive exam and the therapist thinks it's runner's knee. next week I get exercises from him to start recovery. and in the meantime I have to quit all sports. no more qi gong for now and no more trampoline. a little bit sad about that. but I do want to recover!
thur 5 > oh what a day. my knee gradually started to hurt again at work. and at the end of the workday it was so painful I couldn't stand anymore. from 4 on I was looking at the clock every minute until my shift was over. I was SO glad when it was time to go home. the evening was for recuperating on the couch with the heat pad, taping my knee and sleeping early.
fri 6 > the night was not so great, because it got clear the daughter caught a virus. she had a fever and had to puke a lot, so I stayed home from work to take care of her. poor thing ♡
sat 7 > the daughter got up in the middle of the night and cried that I didn't make her a 'get well soon' drawing. we half jokingly once told her that making a drawing for someone who is sick, will probably help with making them better, because they get really happy and feel loved. so now she reversed roles and made me make one! so cute! but I also felt guilty, so it was the first thing I did this morning before leaving for work, making my sick little girl a get well soon drawing ♡
sun 8 > it was my dad's birthday today so we celebrated with the whole family. we got him a professional pizza cutter and had good food. the older I get, the more I appreciate these gatherings with family. spending time with them, talking about the things in our lives, playing, eating. I always go home with a full belly and heart ♡
