improving your mindset

Sometimes life is not that easy. We can go through a rough patch, go through rough experiences, we could get stuck in our life or job, or suddenly have a not so fun problem to solve... These are the techniques that I learned from Campbell Walker that I always fall back to!

reframing

Reframing is another way of expressing your words differently. It's very helpful with creating a fresh mind and new outlook on life.

A question that you can use to reframe:
'how is this the best thing that's ever happened to me?'

Campbell says, that using this technique will help your brain looking for answers. It helps train your mindset to naturally refrain things.

the possibility list

Limiting beliefs are often unconscious thoughts or ideas about yourself, others and the world. They restrict your potential and stop you from growing or achieving your goals. They act as mental boundaries, stemming from past experiences (fears, societal messages). They can manifest as I can't, I'm not or I should. This can create self-imposed limitations on your capabilities and possibilities.

How you can turn your limiting beliefs into possibilities:
use a because statement

A because statement is a way that we gather evidence, that we are whatever the thing we say we want to be is.

Write down in your journal:
I am... (happy, positive, healthy, etc)
Because... (write down bullet points of all the reasons that validate this)
