our birth announcement card
For the birth announcement card of our daughter, we wanted to create a mix of photo and handmade elements. In Germany, it is customary to put a photo on the card. Here in the Netherlands, there aren't really any 'fixed' customs. But I wanted to put something ‘of ours’ on it.
So, we decided to put a photo of the daughter on the front, and for the inside, I made a stamp... a family of rabbits! I drew the outline and colored it in with Ecoline. A nice mix of a little bit of dad and a little bit of mom!
