may happy mail

May was a bit quieter with sending mail. But I still ended up with quite a few letters. I sent two notes in a color theme, because everything went so well together. And it was also a month with lots of fun illustrations, like the ones from Richard Scarry.

The first letter of the month was directly a very cheerful one. With a lot of citrus-sy yellow. It made me super happy just looking at it!

Helga got a letter with the Richard Scarry drawings (oh the childhood memories).

I found these little nectarines in an old Flow magazine and couldn't resist drawing faces on them. I never miss an opportunity to stick eyes on something ; ) I included a 'this or that' list, because Stephanie gave me one to fill out too. And I covered the rest of the post with fish, blub.

Red themed mail for Vronica. The red band around the envelope is made out of paper from illustrator Dinara Mirtalipova.

Oops, I forgot to make pictures of my letter to Tjitske. I just made one from the envelope...

I know Malu loves whales, so this card made by Marieke ten Berge fitted really well. Oh and a tip for cute paper lovers; the paper on the picture on the right comes from Ikea, of all places!

I found this beautiful moth in Breathe Magazine. And when I saw it, I directly knew I had to keep it to send to Paula. I love how it turned out!
