just a bit more dumb
I've been trying to make my iPhone into a dumb phone for some time now. In an ideal world I would get a real dumb phone, like an old school Nokia. But I would still need a good camera on me that fits my trouser pockets. So my consession is using my smartphone as a dumb phone.
Today it felt like I needed a fresh screen to make it just a little bit more dumb.
This is my home screen. I deleted some more apps to make it even more pleasing for the eye.
It's just the essentials now: the daughters school app, our home app, music, books, VSCO editor for my pictures, photo app and my calendar. And on the bottom: mail, browser, messages and camera.
My pull-down menus also look different. Let's see how I like this! I didn't make any big changes. It's just a bit more tidy than it was before.
I would love to switch to an old school phone in the future. But it's not that easy with bank and school apps that you can't do without. For all other things there's probably a solution I could find. So for now, I will do with this.
